C-Section

I had my little girl 2 weeks ago by emergency c section. My wound appears to Be healing well with no weeping etc. However, the area underneath my scar in One place feels very hard, almost like a ball and is quite tender. Is this normal?

One thing to remember is that not only is the skin stitched but so is the muscle underneath and also the uterus. It’s very early days and the healing process is still taking place and this will continue for weeks if not for months to come. At 6 weeks you should have an appointment either with your GP or at the hospital to have your post natal check, if the hard area is still a concern then mention it at this appointment. If at anytime before then you experience fever, inflammation around the area or weeping from your would, contact your GP immediately.
