Caesarean Section I would like a caesarean section and was wondering around which time (if any earlier) than 40 week point is the average for any caesarean to be booked?
Unless there is a good clinical reason to warrant a caesarean section it isn’t likely that one will be arranged on request alone. A Caesarean section is major surgery and isn’t an easier option to a vaginal delivery. There are numerous risks and complications that surround this type of surgery, these risks may be acceptable when weighed against certain conditions in pregnancy when a caesarean would be the advised mode of delivery but less acceptable if a vaginal delivery is a possibility.
